Education is the foundation of a country's future, yet schools face the same pressures every single day. Teachers lose evenings to lesson plans, worksheets, question papers and attendance registers. Students who need a little extra help rarely get it once the bell rings. Parents hear about a problem only after it has grown. And school leaders try to make decisions from records scattered across registers, spreadsheets and half a dozen apps.
We believed there had to be a better way. That belief became PDP Shikshya.
Rather than adding one more generic AI assistant or another learning management system, we built around Nepal's own educational landscape. The platform is grounded in the Curriculum Development Centre (CDC) curriculum and in each school's own approved books, so what it produces is relevant to the classroom it is actually used in — and an answer drawn from that material shows the book, chapter and page it came from.
Behind that sits more than a decade of software engineering, artificial intelligence and IT work. That experience is why the platform can be shaped to a school's own structure, timetable and paperwork instead of forcing every school through the same template.

Secure by design
Student names and identifiers are removed or masked before a tutoring prompt is sent to an AI provider, as far as is technically feasible. Schools keep ownership of their own data.
