Most AI tools are built for a general audience. They are fluent and confident, but they do not know which chapter a Grade 9 student in Nepal is studying this week, which formula their board expects, or how their exam will be marked. PDP Shikshya was built to close that gap. It is a learning platform for schools in Nepal, aligned to the national curriculum, and available in both English and नेपाली.
Aligned to what students are actually taught
When a school onboards, an administrator uploads the curriculum for each grade and subject. The tutor then teaches from that material — citing the chapter and topic a student is working through — instead of inventing its own syllabus. A Grade 12 physics question and a Grade 9 science question get answers pitched at the right level, in the right scope.
Two ways to learn
The tutor has two modes. In Learn mode it works Socratically: it asks questions, offers hints, and helps a student reason toward the answer themselves. In Exam mode it stays strictly inside the loaded curriculum, so revision never drifts into material the student will not be tested on. Both modes cite the source so a student — or a teacher reviewing later — can trace where an explanation came from.
Built for the whole school, not just the chat box
A tutor on its own is only half the story. PDP Shikshya also gives teachers homework and assignment tools, attendance, a class routine, analytics, and report cards; gives parents a digest of how their child is doing; and gives the school a moderated timeline and chat to stay connected. Practice games turn revision into something students return to on their own.
